Dr. Andy Liang

Affliated Member, UWS Lecturer

Dr Andy Liang is a medical graduate from China with a PhD in Neuroanatomy from The University of New South Wales. His research has been focusing on the structural connections between the brain and the spinal cord using both classical tracing methods, MRI, and the cutting edge 3D imaging technique CLARITY/CUBIC. In the past 5 years, he has published 25 peer reviewed journal articles in the field of Neuroanatomy. By taking the advantage of latest 3D imaging techniques, he has started investigating the human brain in both normal and diseased conditions, especially from demented patients.
